He was born in Cordoba, Spain, in 1955. He obtained his Degree in Architecture from the Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura, Madrid and he manages one of the largest Spanish studios of architecture, taking part in urban planning projects and carrying out significant architectonic projects in Spain, Portugal and Poland.

The following are among his most recent awards: the COAM 2008 Distinction for Architectural Works; the “International Works Award” from Distrito C of Telefónica, awarded in the 21st Architecture Biennial of Argentina (Buenos Aires); MIPIM 2007 Award for the “Portico” sustainable building; the “2005 Bex Awards” (Greece) and the “2004 American Architecture Awards” from the Chicago Atheneum (USA).

He is visiting professor at the Universidad Camilo José Cela, takes part in numerous conferences, activities and juries and his works are published in both national and international architecture books and magazines.
